I think one of the nicest places with superb huge rooms, cool marble floors, massive bathrooms and balconies, great views, excellent pool is Greenfields. Go for an upper floor in the mid to high range .
I also love the Tjampuan. It has great views of the river whilst Greenfields overlooks flat rice fields.
Google them both and look on Trip Advisor and Webshots for reviews and photos.
Of course I've probably shot myself in the foot recommending a great place. I once highly recommended the Kumala Pantai and look what happened there.
