If you only have hand luggage & the flight from Oz is on time you should be OK. The LCCT is quite small so you wont have far to travel to departures.
If you don't want to take a chance there are a few nice B&B places @ AU$72 per room, within 15mins of the LCCT. From the B&B you can easily catch the train into KL for a short visit.
