I bought one after seeing where we accidently locked the safe with an incorrect code! (Dufus Heads!) We rang reception and they came down with a code and that was that! Reset and open in a minute!
We do go to Bali twice a year, and had always used the in room safes without a portable safe, and have never had any issues with anything going missing.
It did worry me how easily they can get in, but I still believe it is really highly unlikely. It just gives me peace of mind, and makes it a bit harder to be taken. Some people use lock boxes inside the safe as a deterrent. Enjoy your holiday!
