Hi we stayed as a family of 4 but it was in 2006. We enjoyed it and it was great value. We had an older room which was very spacious, and we preferred using the moat style pool close to the new wing, as it was quieter. You may find if all your friends book superior rooms around this pool that has a bar (or did have) it will be a great meeting point for all of you. You have booked it so you may as well make the most of it especially if you can't cancel. When I was in Bali in December, I noticed they locked the beach access gate, so everyone walked through side emtrance of restaurant to access beach... I guess it was to stop a lot of people like us not walking through if your not staying. Tried to book again for Easter for 5 of us, as is or was cheap, but can't get in, so staying next door at Sari Beach which has 20 rooms, small but pretty garden.
