Ordinary window glass CANNOT be cut from one side and then pushed out in one piece as you see on the movies,any "cut" you put on glass is only a scratch until you apply pressure from the other side i.e. tap the screth and then it will"crack" all way through the thickness of the glass.
Believe me a a glass tradesman since the sixties I have cut more holes in glass than you have had hot dinners.
And apart from that Auto glass which is used in car windows is toughened glass AND CANNOT BE CUT OR WORKED AT ALL, if you try it will shatter.
