Prescription Pain Killers

Hello Need some info please i am on strong pain killers for servier
pain in both knees dew to arthritias taking Morphoin patches and a couple of Tablets how will i go getting through customs do i need a letter from my Doctor explaining things has anybody else had this problem .......
