We just stayed at Jayakarta in November and have stayed twice before. We like the 300 rooms, and when our kids were younger we had interconnecting rooms. They are just fine - no they are not five star - but it is a great hotel. I assume if I am spending a lot of time in my room I must be sick. Not a lot of time is spent inside. We like to get ground floor rooms so we can get together on the grass for pre dinner drinks. The beds are big and comfy the bathroom is fine and the air conditioning great. The other guests are always really friendly. The location is perfect for the beach, for the restaurants and walking distance to Seminyak and great shopping locally. Family friendly. If your parents are used to 5 star - book them into the Padma and walk up the beach road to see them...stress less you will be happy if you don't expect a five star hotel for a three star price
