is to cancel the "all inclusive" bit you Pomms seem to love so much when you go on holidays. The food at Bali hotels(or any other tourist place for that matter) is usually OK but in my experience tends to be sterile and repetitive.
One of the greatest things about Bali is the variety and quality of food and the fun of eating out at a different restaurant everynight !!! And so cheap !!! I dont know what the extra cost of the all inclusive is but you will be able to buy a beer pretty much anywhere for about a Pound and a meal for the two of you and grand daughter would be about 20 quid (and that's for entree's mains and a few drinks).
But whatever you do have fun and relax.
