The rooms at the very end of the block (300) which is closest to the back pool are the Palace Suites. There are 4 of them - they are very well furnished with tasteful decore and have facilities like a kitchenette, lounge and dining area, extra TV (and dvd I think) and an extra large bathroom with spa bath that you don't find in the other hotel rooms but you pay for the privilege (about 3x what you pay for other rooms which are Superior in the 300 Block).

The rooms in the Reception Block (100) that face the main pool are called the Pool View rooms. The rooms have a TV, phone, A/C (that's air conditioning), balcony, storage areas and tea/coffee making facilities but the overall size of the rooms is fairly small and because of their position you'll pay the same as a Superior which are larger and in the 300 (as mentioned before), 400 and 500 blocks.

There is one other type of room in the Reception/100 block. They are the Junior Suites. They are more expensive but are larger (both inside as they have a lounge area and can sleep more people) and outside with a big balcony. They are on the second floor.

The Jayakarta is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are adequate without being too flash but the beds are super comfortable.
