Hi Ashka,
We live in Ballina and before our children moved to Brisbane we used to stop o/night pre flight at the Aero Lodge Motel at Hamilton (I think it is is Kingsford Smith Drive).

From there you can catch a mini bus to the airport (about 10 min).

I am not sure of the price now, but it used to be if you paid for the room you could leave your car there and pick it up on your return free of charge.
