Go to the Ubud market on the main road in the morning, before it gets too hot. Book into a spa for a massage. Definitely go to the evening dance performances - I recommend the Monkey Dance for a first timer. Visit the silver jewellery shops on Monkey Forest Road and Dewi Sita Street. Walk through the monkey forest and down the steps to the bathing pool area. Try a different restaurant for each meal - there are many very good restaurants in Ubud.
