to eat at - it's in Rambutan street about 2 minutes walk from the beach. The italian restaurant a few doors up from the barclona towards the main road is also very good and inexpensive.
The kokatu is o.k. but be warned all the food is cooked after you order it and so it can seem like ages when you are used to the more touristy places.
I can't remember the name of the REALLY ritzy hotel whose restaurant is one of the best in Bali - I think it's the Damai. They will pick you up as it's up in the hills but be warned its prices are comparable to Mozaic in Ubud and Ku de ta in seminyak.
Your hotel will have brochures about the waterfalls and the hot springs but you can do these on the way to and from Lovina as a way of breaking up the long trip over the winding roads.
Hope this helps.
