You can organise a boat to Nusa Penida which is the big island behind Nusa Lembongan. You go to a bay called gammit bay and the array of fish and coral is amazing. Then the boat goes to the mangroves at the back of Jungabatu bay and it is equally amazing.
No the beach down from Batu Karang is not good for swimming but a good surf break lies in front and gives you plenty to watch from the pool and restaurant.
Have a great time, you will love Nusa Lembongan. Great choice for a honey moon.
