I have stayed at the Beach Melati Apartments on several occasions and have found their staff to be very helpful. As for the Manager, I have always found her to be nothing but very attentive, on my last stay, I become quiet ill and the coffee shop staff phoned her around 7.30pm on her mobile and she was there within 15 minutes organising a medic to visit my room. I know the Manager was on holidays over the Christmas period, maybe the Apartments don't run so well without her being there, But she like all of us deserves a break! I stayed last year at Matahari Bungalows and was charged $120($USD) in an older style suite that had a bed, old bathroom & a kitchen that was useless! Didn't even have a kettle, cutlery, crockery and the shower had no water pressure. I spoke to the Manager onsite and it took one week for them to reduce the rate down to $90.00(USD) and fix the water pressure. The Matahari have staff everywhere, but no-one could help until a week later. I still had a great time, but will once again venture back to the Beach Melati Apartments next visit (didn't stay this time as it was booked solid!) cause as far as I'm concerned their services are great!!
