we have stayed here twice and really like it. We enjoy the monkeys but do not want to go into the monkey forrest so we stay at Champlung Sari and watch the monkeys come out in the morning and play. The monkeys try to steal your breakfast and will destroy anything you leave out. When we were there in Oct last year the hotel was doing renovations but we were not impacted by any noise or anything so didnt bother us. we had a room overlooking the pool and spent several hours watching the monkeys drinking the pool water and playing around the pool. To get to the markets etc it is a fairly big walk up the steep hill. Happy to answer ny other questions etc. Enjoy :)
