We are booked in April and after being told we'd have to change too, we have now been assured by our travel agent that it's all ok and as of February all will be operating as per usual but with different management. Apparently their reps went to check it all out. Let's hope that's right?! As for other hotels, the Mandira was our choice but was going to cost an extra $440 per person, which is 4-5 days spending money for us. Don't know about the other two hotels you mentioned. Hopefully all will work out for you. (and us)
