Stayed there in October on my sixth tour of Bali. Dropped off at the end/start of Gang Poppies 1 near Jl Legian, a quick 70m stroll and in through the gate and the traffic noise suppresses, the lush gardens invite and stress immediately drops.

A lovely pool area, a sensible bar, can drink a quiet beer while watching the child swim.

The rooms are very comfortable, they have ceiling fans which gives the option to turn the infernal racket of the aircon off. Likewise if staying in and watching TV or DVDs appeals each rooms has a integrated stereo, dvd hooked up to the tv and speakers. Bathrooms are large and airy. The small bed is made by dropping the table in a bulit in hutch (sim to caravan).

I found Poppies to be great for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, reading books or the daily paper and just relaxing.

The restaurant is across the Gang, and breakfast was extra. Didnt care, had a lovely time.

We paid approx $120 per night for a triple share.
