I work off the west coast of africa doing four on and four off, have been doing this for three years.
When we started here I was taking Malarone but the side affects knocked me for six,as it does with some of my mates.
I gave it away and started on doxycycline (spelling suspect).
When we are travelling through the airport on our way home we just make sure we covered with repellant, make sure it has DET,no self respecting mosquito should come near you, as a safeguard we always wear long sleeved shirts.
