Well that was an awesome experience, very overwhelming at first but I felt right at home by the end. We left on the 3rd and flight was okay no hassles at bali airport and straight through out to the cabs. Stayed at Jayakata, (max & suzannes) 2bdrm aprt and it was great. Had everything there. Had a lot to fit in in a week but did okay.
Did some shopping on day 2 and dinner at La Casa.(Go Tiger). Down to Franks bar on the beach and meet some coast locals.
Day 3 went into Kuta for a look and dvd shopping and more walking and then off for a swim at the pool. My youngest was surfing every afternoon on the boogie board outside the hotel with the local bali boys. Down to beach bar AGAIN..:)
Day 4 went to Bali Safari Park for the day. The kids loved it. Very tiring day.
Day 5 more shopping...... and more bintang in the arvo.
day 6 went to the volcano and to Ubud markets and sightseeing. Thanks to our lovely driver whom we met through some people at the beach bar. Would highly recommend Tony.
Day 7 last minute things to get and then gave the locals our leftover stuff, they loved it.
Flight home was soooo long as we had the crappy flight via perth. So nice to be home though.
Will be going back to catch up with the locals again and would recommend jayakata private residence.
Not a very exciting jbr, but for my first time I was so overwhelmed and can go on for days about the experience. Their driving is also a buzz.
Thanks Bali,, will be back.
