make sure you have good shoes, as the paths are really slippery when wet, and at that time of year it apparently is. eat at the puri alam bali or meme surung for great views and great balinese food. the views from the Puri alam bali are to die for (hold on tight as you go up). we love to stay there. very cheap beer there, too. there is a second and third waterfall, but in the wet, i think it would be dangerous. made from the pruri alam bali has taken us on 2 excellent guided walks. his english is ok, not great, but he knows the trails well. you don't need a guide to get to the main waterfall. just asks the locals on the way. in fact , they will just point you there, without asking. i have left my email open, feel free to ask questions about our favourite place in bali. check the archives for my reports on our trips to munduk
