Has a function built in where it searches for any available wi-fi's nearby
it will name them and show if theybare password protected. So you
don't need a plan our hotel gave us the password as we checked in.
The various cafes and restaurants give you the password as you
order your food. In a minimart near Bali mall galleria the wifi didn't
even need a password we just logged strait in. I'm sure if you got to
the apple website they'd have an expalnation about how it works.
I'm just blown away by the fact that I can now so easily keep in contact
with the family at home. My parents are 70 & they were worried about
the govt warnings released the day before we left. I created my mum
a gmail account and can keep her posted daily if need be. You can
say so much more in an email compared with an SMS .
Plus i've been making all the girls at work jealous with my cocktail
reports on facebook.
