I have to say that in the 7 nights we stayed in Bali, we did not eat 1 bad meal. We chose to try meals from local warungs through to topend restaurants. I will rate them in my personal opinion, you may dissagree which is fine, as it is personal preference.

KESUMAS SANUR.... what a gem of a place, the location certainly gets top marks... under the pavillion, feet in the sand, watching the fireworks.
We ate here 3 times & were not dissappointed on any occassion.
The seafood is fresh & cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice & flavours as to compliment the dish rather than overpower it. Also serve an amazing satay, with a "to die for" peanut sauce. A very cheap night out, with quality food. 8/10

LOTUS CAFE UBUD....Beautiful location, overlooking the lotus pond & temple, location definately makes the meals taste better.
Nice nasi goreng, nothing special, just good, but beautifully presented in a pineapple boat. Chicken satay, this was a standout, we thought we had found the best at Kesumas, however Lotus claimed first place for us. 7/10

BATU JIMBAR SANUR....Best italian coffee going & superb iced coffee.
Mango Pie straight from the oven was heavenly. Great place to sit & people watch. 8/10

MAMA PUTUS WARUNG SANUR.....Stumbled upon this place by accident after treating hubby & myself to a few spa treatments at Deante.
Ice cold Bintang & ice cold Coke, the most delicious cheeseburger i think i have ever tasted. Hubby said it was the best he had ever had.
Hand cut chips, cooked to perfection, very generous servings & very cheap. And Mama Putu, well she is just delightful, so friendly, speaks english well & loves a cuddle. 8/10

MEZZANINE SANUR....This was a special dinner for our sons 21st birthday, as we wanted to create a lovely memory for all of us.
It did not dissappoint.... this place is topend, pricey in Bali terms, but comparable restaurants in Perth, with this level of service, standard of food & atmosphere would command at least $700 for the evening. 5 of us dined on entrees & mains (no room for dessert) & partook in quite a few cocktails & beer, for under $170.
There was a mixture of cuisines ordered... tepanyaki, japanese curries.thai, seafood & duck, each superb. The service was outstanding, we never had an empty glass & the timing of delivery as well as the presentation deserves 10/10

BLOODYRONS BBQ....This was an unexpected treat. Ron hosted a bbq for a couple (Sharon & Greg) recently married & we were lucky enough to score an invite. Billy was masterchef & keeper of the tongs on the day! Billy also makes a wicked cheesecake!
We met so many people this day, including many "repeat offenders", as they are known.
Ron was correct when he said we would meet many people during our stay & the warmth from these people was humbling. Special mention to Gael & Billy thanks so much for all of your advice & help :) And i cant forget Maddie... what a little superstar :) :) 10/10
