We have booked a Superior Family Room at Legian Beach Hotel for July this year. At the time there were no Deluxe Family Rooms available but my travel agent has just rechecked and one is now available if we want it. I know that reviews on the Hotel rooms in this resort have been pretty bad (unless you choose a bungalow) but can anyone shed any light on the differences between the Deluxe and Superior Family Rooms? I understand that the deluxe rooms are split level whereas the superior rooms are two bedrooms separated by a sliding door/partition but what other differences are there? Is one in a better location than the other? Is one better equipped or more likely to be recently refurbished? Do the deluxe rooms have TVs in both sleeping areas? Do the deluxe rooms have balconies for sitting outside (from what I understand Superior don't as they are on the ground floor?). Any particular room numbers we should ask for?
Our kids are 8 & 6 so we would like them close but still want a bit of space as they tend to be early risers!
Cheers.
