Same as beceth. not many people in the front seats. Good valus for the $10 or $20 extra. I was through customs and out the door in 30 minutes also. Could be quicker if you are first to the customs desks. There were no other flights landing at the time. Also, the duty free shop was open when we got there. When the Australian dollar is good against the $US then duty free is cheaper in Bali.
The foot paths are fine during the day. Jalan Legian is a traffic jam at night but the foot traffic was still ok. Ubud is fine too. However there are always people that have to walk side by side and seem oblivious to other people walking in the oppostite direction. Same as here in Perth. I have never booked a meal in Bali, but some restaurants are full at peak eating times so if you want to eat at a popluar restaurant at 7pm then you may need to try and book
