Tampered with!

I still lock them though!

Last year we went to Thailand and couldn't find the lock keys.

I had a great idea, I used cable ties (Zip ties?)

Worked perfect until we arrived at hotel then couldn't get them undone.

Nothing sharp enough in hand luggage to cut them and they were so tight that I couldn't use a pen to loosen them by the tab release!

True though, if you use the padlock to fasten both zippers to the zip lock mount near the handle of modern cases it would be too hard to re close if opened!

On my return to Perth airport once my case was open when it came through onto the conveyor belt,I approached a customs officer about it who informed me that it happens often.

The cases get caught and sometimes prised apart at the Zip whilst on the conveyor.

A friend many years ago had a brand new pair of Reebok's substituted for a pair of worn out old shoes while in Transit in India.

But in my opinion anybody would have to be dreaming to think that their luggage would be opened and used to courier drugs from one country to another!

There is enough stupid people out their willing to do it without knowing the consequences of getting caught.
