Hello,
I am traveling to Bali late Jan for 8 weeks with my family (kids 5 and 3) we want to rent a small, simple house in Central (near Ubud) or East (Padang Bai or so far as Amed) or North Bali (Lovina) for at least 4 of these weeks (starting early/mid Feb).
Does anyone have any advice on how to find out about short term rentals (sublet). We don't have the cash for a "villa", just looking for a cheap home base to get integrated in the local community, make day trips when we feel like it, help out if we find the opportunity, daily trips to the market and focus on family time. We would also be open to a homestay in a compound as long as it is not really touristy. Thanks in advance.
