is just the generic for predisolone which is a steroid.Its actually not good as is does damage other organs with prolongued use.But my rheumatoligist monitors my liver kidney function on a monthly basis and so far all good.Its only 12 months for me but it came on so fast and was fairly advanced ,at first diagonosed as lupis but further testing ruled that out.I have auto immune problems as i also have vertiligo which is also auto immune.so basically as hubby says if i was a horse you know the rest.
