I wonder if the manager of the Jayakarta hotel would approve of this his/her staff's serious breach of privacy protection. But, if it is common practice at the Jayakarta hotel to give any information about their guests to anyone who just asks, I would consider staying elsewhere. No wonder people gets call from time share agents, be they RCI affiliated or whatever.
The guy has already returned to Australia and has not even tried to import the bike in question so what is the point of informing customs? Sure, you have a friend who has a son there. Your agenda is just revenge, isn't it? Do you feel happy for that? I thought dobbing on someone was un-Australian.
