I have had no problems at all except for the fact that you can't send in Rupiahs. I have always sent in Aus dollars, I check the exchange rate just before transferring and transfer to the nearest rupiah and add a bit for the fees that have to be paid at the other end. You will need his name, the bank name, the swift code, the account number, tha bank address. Also you will need his name, address and phone number.
