Friday fare frenzy 4pm -8pm every Fri with Jetstar, may have some specials on if checked vigilantly every week.
Have airlines email you by being subscribed to their sale alerts.
There may be some specials come about Dec/Jan when people have other things on their mind, Xmas holidays etc. Checked thru my emails, early Jan they had a huge aus/asia sale thru webjet.com.au this year.
Airasia had a huge sale a couple of weeks ago, fare $199 from Perth return, dep dates were from Feb-Oct 2010, tho that doesn't help you, sry.
