bought tickets for May ages ago at $131 each , no fee . Bought more for family members on same flights about 2 months ago , no fees . Then bought heaps more same flights during the Nov sale and noticed the fee . Funny thing is in 1993 i was paying $700 return (full price fare ) and didn't care . So at less than $300 return now with seat booking and luggage fee another $10 won't bust the budget . We flew Garuda 2 weeks ago on a special and it was better than AA , however at full price with 5 of us i'll take AA any day . If you don't like the fee let your booking do the talking and book elsewhere.
