Sympathy will abound, but action will be sparce.
Other than CC dispute procedures, there is little protection or help for people who have suffered at the hands of travel agents or airlines it seems.
Perhaps a mention of these organisations to AA may help as I am sure they are pleased so far with the publicity they are enjoying, and may not want to risk it for the sake of a fare refund.
