Unlike Air Paradise which operated 2 leased 20+ year-old Airbus A-310's in its own right, Air Asia has more than 72 Aircraft over 60 destinations and 400 flights each day. They have carried more than 55 million passengers and won many awards for "excellence". Air Asia's fleet is mainly new Airbus A320's with just a few remaining Boeing 737's. I have personally inspected Air Asia's training facility in Kuala Lumpur and have been inside one of their two A-320 Flight Simulators. Their whole operation is absolutely World-Class in what it offers. Admittedly their seat pitch is not what you will get in a full-service carrier like Garuda Indonesia or Malaysia Airlines but you can always book an exit row if you need more leg room and still have money to spare with Air Asia's prices.
There is never 100% certainty when making any business transaction but I am absolutely confident when I book my regular Air Asia flights that their commitment will be honoured.
