we flew with them in Jan/Mar and they are fine. My husband ordered a small bottle of wine with cheese and crackers for $6.50AUD and paid in AUD. They do say that you are not allowed to eat or drink your own food but we took packets of chips and lollies and nobody stopped us eating them. The seat seemed the same size but not as much leg room as Garuda but for us flying from Perth that was not a problem.
