we allow $100 per day for 2 but some days we might not spend hardly anything and other days go way over. A lot depends if you plan to do lots of day trips, eat at pricey places and buy lots. I would take more than you think you need as you can always bring it back if you have not spent it. One thing that can blow your budget is if you share the restaurant bill particularly for cocktails. We had a few friends who only drank top shelf stuff and I only usually drink water and husband beer, and they ordered 3 courses to our one so splitting the bill for us was not good. All places in Bali let you all have your own tab which I prefer to do.
