Glad you enjoyed the bike trip.We also picked up people but only at Sanur and I met a most interesting lady and her 2 sons. They thought Kuta air was so "clean"- they live in New Deli.
You are so keen to travel 20 plus hours(plus airport times) for just 8 days pleasure.
