Have flown Air Asia twice now, first off worth booking red seats in firts 4 rows, cost an extra $10.00au each way but worth it. They say you are not allowed to take food on board as they sell it but the last time we flew with them we were in row 2 and they had sold out of coffee and sandwiches. They fill up in Bali with food but do not top up in Perth so if they have a full plane coming back there is no food for going over. I take the sachets of coffee and a mug, ask for hot water, if lucky you will get it, as for food I would take a sandwich with you or at least something to munch on. In saying this it is only 3.20min to bali, but must have coffee. As for the wheelchair, I have used them twice for this, they were great, right fron check in here in Perth, they get a little wheelchair with a red flag but you have to have somebody to push you around, if you are flying by yourself they will take you to the coffee shop and come and get you when it is time to board, you must go on the plane first and when you come back to perth if you need a wheelchair again you are last off, I have found both points of travel very friendly, hope you enjoy yourself. 3 weeks from monday and I am off for 4 day shopping trip in bali.
