A new one opened late year - Bali Joes. It's a 'gay friendly' bar but low key - has great music, drag queens, straight and gay - a good mix of people. It's a lot of fun - My girlfriend and I went there last year (we're both straight - happily married.)Service was absolutely faultless. Hard pressed to find service like that at home. Good night and will be back this xmas!
Double six and la vida loca are also fun but watch out if you are still there after 4am - you might find yourself unintentionally on the menu!! There is lots of local competition at embargo!!!!
Go to the Bounty early in the evening (11pm - 1am -Ok then ) and then stay to check out what happens late at night when everyone else is off their face but otherwise steer clear of that one. lots of intersting. Have a sleep in the afternoon so that you can have your eyes open when the action starts. Very different to the family holiday!! Enjoy
