Friend went to Darwin immediately after chemo because they needed the break, but having radiation after. Found that the heat affected them more - due to the injections which go with the final rounds.
Of course this would go in tandem with advice from your oncologist, but obviously you are seeking info from people who have had similar experience, which is (after all) what a travel forum is about.
Bear in mind, travel insurance wont cover you.
