Ive had hair extensions put in the last 3 times Ive been to Bali.
I've always gone to the same chick that does them... and I can honestly say I've NEVER had any problems with them :o)
It just depends if you want the ones that are glued in, or with the metal clasps. I've always had the ones that are glued in as they last heaps longer. The last lot I had lasted from November 2008 until July 2009. I'll be arriving in Bali on 23rd November (yay 4 more days!!!) and I'm definately getting them done again!!
Her name is Julie and shes located on Poppies 2... I'm not sure of the name of her shop... its next door to a massage place and directly opposite a 7/11.
The place doesn't look anything much, but she definately does a good job! You should be able to get them for about $100 - $150 AUD.
If you get your hair braided with them in they will survive the trip... but it will be hard work when you unbraid your hair!!
