of accomodation you want. You will not get into anything from 3* up in Kuta/ Legian/ Seminyak,, but there will be some budget and smaller hotels that may have rooms. That is a MAY, next April many hotels are already at capacity.
You should be fine in Candi Dasa but I would book Ubud if you don't want to be legging it around town.
It really depends where and what sort of place you want, but you can do it if you don't mind wandering around.
