Hi, im planing to travel to bali Dec/Jan and id like to stay out of Kuta. i will be travelling with my 12 yr old daughter who is already a shopaholic so we need to be close enough to taxi it in to kuta etc. I have stayed at Patra Jasa and Dynasty before but we would like to stay out of the main part of kuta as my daughter is a little nervous about going back there so i thought if we stayed out of kuta a little she may feel safer and im sure once she is there she will be fine. She has lovely memeories of bali. The only place i know is Ubud from previous day trips..any other suggestions? im not looking for anything cheap or backpackerish. Id love a private pool if not a good size pool.i read another post re vaccinations and children..the past two trips we made we didnt have any vaccinations and i wasnt planning on getting any this time...have things changed in last 6 years? ill take the usual medical stuff like rid and antiseptic creams etc.
