I had a spray tan a couple of years ago and ended up with big freckles on my chest. I applied 30plus suncream but the reaction of the dye in the tan fried the skin.
I also noticed the chlorine in the hotel water supply ie shower water took the tan off fast and lasted only 2 days.
I know use "Johnsons holiday tan" and exfoliate each couple of days reapplying which has been successful for me. Good Luck.
