I always have salad in bali and haven't had a problem. many restaurants advertise that they wash their salad in sterile water. As for Arak my favourite drink is an Arak Sunrise at Daddys in Tuban but I always tell them how much Arak I want in it otherwise it will knock your socks off....so to speak
