Somewhere stunning - The Rock Bar

at Ayana Resort at Jimbaran Bay (www.ayanaresort.com) This is the most amazing place I have ever been. A bar built on top of a rock in the ocean. You travel down the cliff front in an inclinator and the views are amazing. Not cheap - Bintang 45,000 and cocktails 95,000 BUT much better value than a main course with water at Ma Joly for 330,000 per person.
Just back this morning and Bali has been the hottest I have ever experienced. It rained for a few minutes a couple of mornings but bucketed down for ages last night. Rp8600 to A$.
Warung Benita (near Bali Mystique) great meals and great value
Ultimo - a bit like Coles Cafeteria. Fast food, kids everywhere
La Sal - great
Lanai - one of my faves but meal was disgusting
Pantarei - great value Greek
Chandi - beautiful
GerGer Beach the find of the holiday (apart from Rock Bar) and some nice Italian eye candy.
