2008 nearby Bualu Village there were numerous dining options.
Cheers The food was good; there were TVs with sports, free 8 ball tables, darts and a foosball table. There is also a kids corner with playstation and colouring in etc. The kids thought it was great that we could all play games at tea time. The kids had BBQ chicken slices which you cook to your liking on a table cooker. I had the best steak on a hot stone and my wife had a chicken fillet also on a sizzling hot stone. You all get to wear aprons as you cook away, which is a novel touch.
Also in Bualu Village are,
Mai Mai Restaurant &
Nyomans Beer Garden
Have had very nice meals at both.
Here is a cut & paste of our Nusa Dua Info
Nusa Dua Area Restaurants
La Scala Restaurant Tanjung Benoa (Nusa Dua area). Ops the Grand Mirage Hotel, lights in trees out front, live band most nights, roof shaped like the sails of the Sydney opera house. Free transport local area. Favourites- spring rolls, seafood bruschetta, chicken melting as main course. Cocktails are also great. Food very well priced for the area! ***** GOOD REVIEWS & FREE PICKUP *****
Number is 775 605.
Mai Mai: Pantai Mengiat (next to Nyomen's). Free transport in local area. Indo and International with a Mexican flavour. Cheap and clean.
Casablanca Benoa Ph.778631. (Nice food and staff, they had three young traditional dancers who chatted with the kids and provided top entertainment we went on a Tuesday night).
The Pavillion Ph: 774551 outside main gates of Nusa Dua.
Nyoman's Beergarden Restaurant & Bar is located along the strip of restaurants just outside of the Nusa Dua resort complex, on Jl.Pantai Mengiat in Bualu. Free transport in local area
A hit with the German tourists, as it serves German dishes (as well as the usual Indo and International fare).
El Pirata is a cool looking place on the main drag in Bualu. The restaurant is an International & Seafood specialist. For people staying in Nusa Dua, this restaurant will take 5-10 minutes to get to by taxi. Among the great reasons to visit are : A free welcome drink & peanuts, free salad, free transport to and from your hotel, Balinese dance performance every Thursday & Saturday. El Pirata is open from 8am-11pm daily, for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Hope all this helps,
You won't go hungry. These are just a few. Just about all will provide free transport to & from your hotel. There is always someone handing out business cards on the restaurant strips.
