LOL - yes, we wheeled-vehicle-challenged people are in the minority. (Shhh but I can't drive either!) Your 3yo would love the trip as there are frequent stops along the way where you get out & wander around rice fields etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Wayan has kiddie seats for the bikes - worth asking about. (Wayan responds promptly & lucidly to emails).
I was SO irked about not being able to get the bag made at Tommy's. They suggested mailing it to me for an extra amount (forget) but I declined as I doubted it would reach me. Shame about your handles - they said they couldn't do the handles on my choice. I am sure that you will be happy with the repairs - I guess they have trouble doing new things (especially those involving a lot of work).
