we just got back, we experienced 3 power cuts in the one week, but most places seem to have generator backup. except the kuta markets. That was a bit scary. the lights went out at about 9pm when we were in the middle of the markets, it was very dark, only had moonlight. but nothing bad happened. the Balinese were making ghost noises and laughing, and scaring each other.
