Hi,
Not sure where you are travelling from but we managed to get on Air Asia $267.00 return + Luggage from Perth departing 30th January.
We have never been in January before, but have been earlier in the wet season, generally it will rain during the day in short spurts, however it is still hot and has never stopped us from doing anything, most of the rain is usually at night but no guarantees :)
