hi all this is the very first ime that i have written a JBR so please bear with me.
My husband and I took our boys and one of there mates for our family holday. We stayed at the Bali Garden's hotel Villa. That way we could keep and eye on them. Our eldest who has the disabilty loved it as it was close to the pool and the breakfast restaurant so he didn;t have far to walk. Our middle son and his mate were out most nights clubbing until about 2.30 in the morning and quite often crawled throught the door with the assistance of the security guards, if they hadn't fallen into the garden beds. Our youngest thought it was great to go for swims at night.
We had arranged to take them to waterbomb park, the elephant park and white water rafting. Great way to loose the lot of them at waterbomb park at least i managed to catch up on some reading. The elephant park was an experience that my disabled son won't forget, he loved it feeding the elephants. (didn't get a ride on them as he gets to excited and might have fallen off). I did send my husband and 3 of the boys white water rafting, they came back with a few aches and pains but the loved it, there only complaint was the amount of stairs they had to go down and up again, but they all had fun. (hubby is still recovering). As my second son's mate was with us and a bali virgin we also took him to the monkey forrest. He was really quite game holding one of the bats. Now no holiday is complete with out a couple of minor hiccups. They are currently adding a new wing on at the Bali Garden Hotel, one night the staff came running down to the villa as some one had cut a water pipe leading into the villa by accident, they did offer us another room until the pipe could be fixed. Lucky the boys and I all had showers before we were told, so if we needed to go to the toilet we had to use the ones at the pool or the ones in reception. Made for a fun night. Most nights we ate at the Bali Bagia on JL Bakansari. Have since found out the they have changed the name of the street to JL Singarsari. All in all had a great time and hoping to go again next year.
